Ellie has always been a good climber, but recently has taken her climbing skills to new heights...literally. Grandpa Bunker made this little table for the girls for Christmas. We put it in the kitchen and Kylie has loved having snacks and meals there. But the other day I turned around and Ellie was on top of the table! I had seen her climb on the chair before, which makes me nervous, so I have made sure to keep the little chairs pushed in under the table. But now she has learned to pull the chair out, climb up onto it and up onto the table! I quick took a couple of pictures while she was standing up, peering out the window. She was pretty proud of herself though! We have now moved the little table into the living room and over carpet!
Ellie also likes to crawl up into a shelf inside the TV cabinet. We keep a few toys and books on this shelf, but when Ellie saw it empty, she saw a new play area!
Another one of Ellie's new favorite places to play is Mom and Dad's closet! If when she crawls into our room, she sees one of the closet doors open, she makes a bee-line for it. She is pro at pulling my shirts of the hangers.
Lately, Ellie has started to show us her love for clothes. Not only does she love to pull my shirts of the hanger, but she enjoys pulling clothes out of her (or Kylie's) dresser. She gets excited when she gets a hold of some clothing item and tries to pull it over her head. Well, today Kylie thought she would help Ellie pull out her clothes. I walk into their bedroom and find Ellie's dresser emptied. And then a few minutes later, Kylie's was emptied too. At least they had fun....
